Q: What currency is shown

A: All items and sales are in Australian dollars.

Returns

Q: Can I return my purchase?
A: The African Collection wants you to be happy with your purchases from us.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and the item/s are in their original condition, then the goods can be returned to us within 14 days of receipt. You will then be either issued a full refund for the item, or it will be  exchanged for another item.

To ensure that we are aware of any problem please email before returning the goods info@africancollection.com.au. Please include a copy of your invoice number, email address and telephone number in case we need to contact you.

Q: To where do I return goods?
A: When you make contact with us about the return you will be given a physical address to enable the return.

Q: Who pays for the postage on returned goods?
A: If the return of an item is due to an error by The African Collection, or because it is faulty, then you will receive a refund of both the delivery charges. However, if items being returned are not as a result of errors by The African Collection or the product being faulty then you will be responsible for both the original delivery charge and the return.

Q: When will I receive my refund?
A: All approved refunds will be made within 5-10 business days of our receipt of the return.

Q: How will I receive my refund?
A: Refunds will be made only in the same form as the original payment

Cancellations

Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: To cancel an order you must phone us the same day as the order was placed. However, if the order has been shipped, we cannot cancel it for you and you may return it for refund, less the shipping charge.

Deliveries

Q: When can I expect to receive my purchases?
A: Provided that your items are in stock they will be despatched within 1-3 working days after payment is received. However, The African Collection cannot guarantee the actual delivery times.

Privacy

Q: Do you pass my information onto any body else?
A: The information you supply is not given to any third party. The information you provide us is not used for any other purpose. From time to time we may offer you specials using your email address; however even in this situation you always have the alternative of removing yourself from our mailing list.

Q: What do you do with my credit card details?
A: Once the order is processed your credit card details are deleted from our system. Further, this information is not backed up or saved to any other servers, for your added protection.

Q: Are my payments secure?
A: Our web site resides on a secure server and has built in security measures designed to protect against the loss, misuse and / or alteration of the information under its control.

Q: If I wish to purchase a gift for somebody, can my purchase be sent to their address?
A: Yes, at the time of purchase this site requests delivery details.
